Archipel 19 - Cultural Centre
Archipel 19 is the cultural centre of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe and Koekelberg. Located in these two towns - for almost 20 years for the first and a few months for the second - it develops projects at a crossroads: those of artistic creation, various forms of expression and citizenship.
Its reputation was based on the large-scale participatory projects that it developed during its early years. They lead the way at the time, engaging a large number of inhabitants in long-term initiatives combining art, citizenship, learning and diffusion.
Archipel 19 is evolving. The intention of recent months has been to adapt it to provide warm and welcoming premises.
The staff of Archipel 19 will be present to present this year's cultural programme.
From 11am to 1pm, you will have the opportunity to attend a rehearsal of the Academy's string orchestra in the great hall, and the association Arc-en-verres will welcome you all day at its glasswork workshop.
From 11am to 1pm: rehearsal by the Academy string orchestra
From 10am to 6pm: Arc-en-verres workshop
Saturday 4 May 2019 from 10am until 6pm
