Bicycle ride: the renovation of the banks of the Anderlecht to Molenbeek canal
Organised jointly by the Anderlecht and Molenbeek Tourism departments
Ignored by Brussels inhabitants for a long time, the canal area is experiencing a rebirth.
After the opening of the Charleroi canal, the Southeast of Brussels should become its economic lung, its "Little Manchester".
We will ride along the banks of the water course that Anderlecht is turning into a tourist attraction, which Molenbeek is decorating and dotting with ambitious projects, and we will (re)discover their architectural heritage, but also the projects that the Regional government wants to establish there, so that, after being considered a boundary, this 14-km long channel can become the place where the future of Brussels is designed.
